Overview
Bookienook is a mobile application designed to help busy readers browse, purchase, and request books from local bookstores without needing to visit them physically. The app bridges the gap between readers and local bookstores by providing a convenient digital platform that saves time while supporting local businesses.
Problem Statement
Many readers face challenges such as knowing book availability, finding similar reads and struggling to make time to visit bookstore.
Goal Statement
Design a mobile application that allows users to browse, discover, purchase books and also to place a request for the books that are unavailable.
User Research
A survey was conducted using Google Forms to know more about user pain points. The research findings are as follows:
